Monotype’s global language support was a significant factor in the decision. “Monotype is such a big brand, with the ability to develop type for lots of languages and markets. I felt more comfortable working with a partner that has that scale and international awareness,” said Steffi Marty, Mars’ Global Director of Brand Identity and Design.

For over 80 years, M&M’S® has been bringing people together around the world. This year, the iconic brand received a modern makeover with a renewed mission to create a world where everyone feels they belong. Changes include a fresh look and updated personalities for the beloved M&M’S characters, a more inclusive and welcoming tone of voice, and a new, eye-catching typeface called All Together. This new typeface is large, warm, playful, and conversational, perfectly embodying the brand’s refreshed identity.
